Description

This is a real vehicle transportation example completed by TurboX Logistics. The vehicle was transported on an open carrier from IAA Minneapolis, MN to Chicago, IL.

This Honda Pilot was purchased through IAA and required pickup directly from the auction facility. Before arriving, our driver scheduled the pickup using the IAA mobile app. Once at the facility, there was no need to check in inside the office. The driver simply marked “Arrived” in the app, and an IAA forklift operator brought the vehicle directly to the trailer for loading, making the pickup process fast and efficient.

At the delivery location, the customer experienced an unexpected delay and was unable to meet the driver in person. Following the customer’s instructions, our driver unloaded the vehicle, used a jump pack to start it, and carefully drove it into the customer’s driveway. The vehicle was parked safely, a complete set of delivery photos was taken, including the vehicle condition and the location where the keys were left. The driver also photographed the keys, called the customer to confirm delivery, and remained on site until the transportation balance was received via Zelle. Once payment was confirmed, the driver continued on to the next scheduled pickup.

This shipment is a good example of how TurboX Logistics coordinates not only transportation but also clear communication and flexible delivery solutions when unexpected situations arise.

Actual transportation costs vary depending on vehicle size, pickup and delivery locations, season, carrier availability, fuel prices, and scheduling flexibility.
