Description

This is a real vehicle transportation example completed by TurboX Logistics. The vehicle was transported on an open carrier from Salt Lake City, UT to Dallas, TX.

This classic Ford F-100 was picked up from the customer’s residence in Salt Lake City. The owner had already relocated to Texas, so another person met our driver at the property and handed over the keys for pickup.

The truck required a jump start before loading, but our drivers are always equipped with professional jump packs and the proper equipment to safely handle situations like this. After starting the vehicle, our driver completed a thorough inspection, documenting the truck’s overall condition before transport.

Because this classic Ford is equipped with a manual transmission, loading required additional experience and care. Our driver was familiar with operating older manual vehicles and successfully drove the truck onto the trailer without any issues, securing it properly for transport.

Once in Dallas, the customer requested delivery along a nearby street shoulder where there was enough room to safely unload the truck. Our driver carefully unloaded the vehicle, completed the final inspection, received payment, and wished the customer many enjoyable miles with his classic Ford in its new Texas home.

Classic vehicle transportation often requires additional planning and experienced drivers, especially for older vehicles with manual transmissions or those needing a jump start. At TurboX Logistics, we make sure every shipment is handled safely and professionally from pickup through final delivery.

Actual transportation costs vary depending on vehicle size, pickup and delivery locations, season, carrier availability, fuel prices, scheduling flexibility, and the special handling requirements of classic or collector vehicles.
